While many London drag queens have dismissed politics for social capital, Victoria’s drag constantly challenges, provokes, and rejuvenates the city’s queer spaces. I’m so inspired by how Victoria unapologetically takes up space when they are in drag. They give spotlight and agency to the daily labours of femininity that are invisible and policed. My hope is that viewers will experience the transformative power of Victoria’s drag, and will watch this queer unicorn warrior be where they belong—in cinematic grandeur, with a gaze that they own.”
