Gender as Performance
An introduction to thinking about gender as performance. A practical workshop using exercises to explore physicality, subtext and improvisation techniques, helping participants play with gender, developing characters and performance work. Participants will also get to experience a drag performance by drag king Sammy Silver, who regularly performs throughout the UK and internationally, serving his unique brand of sex, sass and the surreal.
